Kenneth Vandendriessche defends Lanzarote title

Together with the majority of his ITZU TRI Team he will be competing against a huge field of Pro Athletes such as IRONMAN Lanzarote 70.3 2017 winner Emilio Aguayo Muñoz from Spain and Michael Raelert from Team Erdinger Alkoholfrei and Anna Haug from Germany who won the Club La Santa IRONMAN 70.3 in 2017.

Sara Pérez Sala, Spanish Triathlon Champion on the Olympic distance and her fellow countrywoman, multiple IRONMAN winner Saleta Castro are said to be one of the hottest candidates, alongside German sprinter Anne Haug, to finish the 5km Run, 20km Bike course and the final 2,5km Run first.

In contrast, we welcome many local and international amateur athletes that will chase their goals they set themselves and enjoy a race of high international class alongside a wide range of international top athletes and make this event once more an unforgettable event for all – athletes and spectators.
